Special Photo Trips with Ethan Gordon

Cocos Island 2010
Vessel: Sea Hunter

cocos island hammerheads

Hands down, visiting Cocos Islands is every serious diver’s dream.  This will be Ethan's third time leading trips to Cocos Island – the first two with great success.  Experience the true grandeur of Cocos first hand aboard the Sea Hunter.  This 10 day itinerary includes seven days of action packed diving with an abundance of hammerheads, silkies, silvertips, whitetips, mantas, eaglerays, dolphins, schooling fish and more!  The exceptional staff onboard will guarantee an unforgettable trip and will have you begging for more.  We recommend that you extend your Costa Rican experience by a few days and tour the rest of the natural wonders on the main land.  Want to experience Cocos on a re-breather trip?  We are providing a special re-breather option for those who want to dive in silence.  I will be diving a rebreather myself. However, open circuit (scuba) divers will have a fantastic time as well. Please call for more information

Your vessel, Sea Hunter is completely air-conditioned, has carpeted decks and a beautiful and spacious wood-paneled lounge area with library, television, VCR and CD stereo system. There are eight cabins for total of 18 divers—three double staterooms with double beds and optional single berth and television with a VCR, three double cabins with upper and lower berths and two triple cabins. All the cabins have their own private facilities. There are two large camera workshops with ample individual storage and battery charging capacity, and E-6 processing. The well-designed diving deck area has individual gear storage facilities.

Cocos can be tough diving. Lots of currents and sometimes little protection from wind and seas. It's wet and wild but well worth it.
